Point to Ponder: There is a purpose behind every problem.

Romans: 8: 18 --- 30

God has a purpose behind every problem. You should expect four kinds of problems in life.

1.)    TRIALS are designed by God to draw us closer to Him and build our character.
2.)    Temptation are designed by the Devil to draw us away from God and destroy our character.
3.)    Trespasses are hurts caused by the sin of others
4.)    Troubles are usually, but not always, the consequences of our own sinful choices.

When you face problems try to determine the source first.

If the trouble is your own fault, you should repent of it.

(Acts 2:38 NIV)  Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

If it is a temptation from Satan, you should resist it.

(James 4:7 NIV)  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
