Temptation is a sign that Satan hates you, not a sign of weakness or worldliness.
You will never be able to avoid it completely
(James 1:13 NIV) When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
What intimidates Satan?
(1 Peter 5:8 NIV) Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Have you ever been frightened?
When youre tempted Not if. It is NOT a sin to be tempted. (Luke 4:2 NIV) where for forty days he (Christ) was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
