How Real Servant's Act
December 26, 2004
Matthew 10: 3242
Real servants make themselves available to serve. To know that shape you have is important, having a heart of a servant is even more important. A servant must always be standing by for duty. Being a servant means giving up the right to control your schedule, and allowing God to interrupt it whenever He needs to. Servants pay attention to needs, and they are always on the lookout for ways to help others.
(Rom 12:5 NIV) so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
God expects you to serve Him with whatever you have, Real servants do every task with equal dedication.
(Col 3:23 NIV) Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
Real servants are faithful to their ministry. They finish their task, fulfill their responsibility, keep their promise, and complete their commitments. They dont leave a job half done and they dont quit when they get discouraged. If recognized for their service, they humbly accept it, but dont allow notoriety to distract them from their work.
Real servants dont serve for the approval or applause of others. They live for an audience of One.
